At present I conduct research in Computational Photonics and Error Correcting Coding. This includes both theoretical modelling and computer simulations. My research interests are:

• Non-equilibrium Green's functions (NEGF) modelling of active photonic devices
• Coding theory applications (Reed-Solomon, LDPC codes)
• Graphene plasmonics
• Simulation of vertical cavity surface emitting lasers (VCSEL)
• Porous media acoustics

I actively collaborate with several groups in the Canada, USA, UK and Singapore, both academic and industrial.
